Professional conference organiser Sweden Meetx has got off to a flying start in 2017 by entering into a number of new partnerships. One of these is a long-term project with Jönköping Convention Bureau.

In order to broaden its field of activity beyond Region Västra Götaland, MEETX has for the past three years been analysing various interesting meeting destinations. Jönköping is one of the destinations that MEETX has chosen to focus more strongly on, and a new long-term agreement between Meetx and Jönköping Convention Bureau will apply from the new year.

“We chose Jönköping Convention Bureau because of their extraordinary expertise, which has regularly attracted our attention over the years. Jönköping is home to a number of modern, flexible and high-calibre meeting venues of varying sizes. There is also an abundance of accommodation, which we think may suit our long-term contract clients,” says Marie Jacobsson, Operational Director, Sweden Meetx.

“Through our domestic and international partnerships and our local networks, we are delivering the ideal conditions for successful meetings in Jönköping. Meetx is a player that in a very short space of time has captured significant market shares, which bodes well for a successful partnership that is in line with our long-term strategic efforts,” says Ante Jankovic, Manager, Jönköping Convention Bureau.

Meetx has already been appointed the project manager for two congresses at Elmia Congress Centre & Concert Hall in Jönköping: Reproduktiv hälsa (Reproductive health) in May 2017 and the Swedish Society of Pathology’s 2018 Spring meeting.
